Its emphasis is on working with the "hip"- those who know the swinging hips of graceful Bollwood dancers know how many ways to move the hips in fact exist. The movements and positions have their own names and origins, such as "Hips Rajastani", "Tumka" or "The 8". The uniquely erotic moves from BollyDance and the typical Indian hand gestures (mudras) are combined with modern Hip Hop steps- the perfect combination of Indian and Western dance styles. The music for this workout is a rhythmic CrossOver of Bollywood, Bhangra, Oriental, with various drums in the foreground.

This training concept is an important aspect of traditional chinese medicine. Qi Gong has about 800 movement sequences, it is a static workout in which the clients stand, lie or sit. Through long practice, it is possible to focus the energy (Qi) in specific points of the body. Therefore the movements are repeated at least 20-times. Qi Gong exercises harmonize the energy of life and, as a result it strengthens and balances the poles of Ying and Yang. This kind of body work is a useful combination to a holistic workout like BollyDance.
YOGA DANCE
Yoga-Dance is the perfect workout for clients who care about their fitness and have a passion for dance training. Yoga-Dance is a combination of classical yoga elements that are linked in flowing sequences and smooth movements without any breaks. Through constant repetitions it is easy to remind the sequences so that one can concentrate on “feeling” the movements and activating the flow of energy. Participants reported that their flexibility and mobility improved through consequent repetitions. They had the impression their body became “longer” or “taller” and “dancelike” movements helped to make the exercises seem less exhausting. Yoga Dance trains the whole body and improves balance, mobility, flexibility and posture. This result could not be achieved through single, independent exercises where the dynamic link is missing.
ASHTANGA YOGA
Ashtanga Yoga is an integrated yoga-method which combines Asanas (positions) and Pranayama (breath control). Sequences of movements are defined and with synchronized breathing dynamically practiced.
